Hard Anodised Cookware
Hard anodized cookware is a result of a chemical process: Andoising Aluminium. It changes the density and colour of aluminium making it twice as strong as stainless steel. Hard anodised aluminium has the benefit of being an integral part iof the pan not just a coating.
A hard-anodized surface has the same microscopic porous configuration as soft plain aluminum allowing non-stick coatings to permeate the surface and be locked in permanently. Due to the durability of hard anodised surfaces the non stick is not broken down by utensil use and on top of that Circulons Total Hi-Low food release system further more protects the surface.
Advantages of cooking with Circulon Hard Anodised Cookware:
- Having an aluminium core makes for excellent heat distribution
- Twice as strong as stainless steel
- Dishwasher Safe (although hand washing recommended as chemicals may cause discolouration)
- Non Stick
